- CPU: Intel Pentium CPU
- Processor: Intel Celeron Quad-Core N3450 or Intel Pentium Quad Core N4200
- RAM: 8 GB
- Battery Life: 12 hours
Benefits
- Respectable Processors.
The Intel Celeron Quad-Core N3450 or Intel Pentium Quad Core N4200 (both in Intel’s Apollo Lake line) processors are used in Acer Chromebook 514. Intel HD Graphics 500 or 505 is the graphics processor. This is some good hardware, especially if you take the Chromebook price 514 into account.
- Display.
The monitor is an LCD or FHD (1920 ft11080) IPS Multi-touch LCD 14″ FHD Acer ComfyView IPS LED. These are fantastic shows especially given the price point.
- RAM.
The 514 is either 4 GB of RAM or 8GB of RAM in the Acer Chromebook. This is a decent quantity of RAM for program zipping.
- Great Battery Life.
The battery life of the Acer Chromebook 514 is 12 hours. This means you can use the laptop without a fee all day long.
- Great Connectivity.
There is also a respectable number of ports used in Chromebook 514. Two USB 3.0 ports, twice Type-C USB ports, a microSD card slot, and a three and a half mm headphone jack are available. What’s cool about this specification is that a lot of scatters and adapters aren’t necessary to store.
Downsides
- Moderate Storage. The volume is 32GB or 64GB of eMMC. This is a moderate quantity because it does not seem plenty. But Chromebooks are well known to deal with cloud-speaking files.
- Design. If the Chromebook 514’s architecture is as defined by Android Police, it’s disadvantageous. If the Chromebook 514 had a more stable architecture, it would have been stronger.
Verdict
The Acer Chromebook is a fair price standout for the luxury Chromebook stage and is priced for students and bargain customers. The insert is covered in aluminum and ready for any day of the plug.
